i do think there will be a day when US will decline and fall extremely hard.Currently many might think US is the most powerful copuntry in the world. But many more will also agrees that US and the americans are indeed a cocky cunch of ppl. They often think too higly of themselves ut yet they did failed in many incidents .for example, after 6over yrs they still cant capture the man himself Osama Bin Ladin. Then there was Hurricane Katrina, they too failed to proivde their own ppl the help and most of these ppl were low income families. They responded so late and took their own sweet time to react. Many did wonder how could such a thing happen with a country so advance in technology. Many will agrees too that the day when US fall they will no longer be same anymore.Perhaps its their cockyness, often being too nosey, that will eventually bring their downfall.US and the amercians should learn to be modest, humble and knows when to mind their own buiness. If they do not heed other ppl's advices and always think they are always right, its inevitable that they WIll fall !

Its not inevitable, But with what we have been doing for the last 6yrs. We are well on our way. We the people have lost power and it seems if we are headed for dictatorship plain and simple. When the president who we elected doesn't answer to the people we have lost the meaning of our government. What is this the way to the new world order or what?

What goes up must come down!
The third Reich a mere 20 years, the British Empire a couple of Hundreds, the Roman a little over a thousand I would not be worried by such a question.

"Cowboy mentality", greed, lack of education, and poor priorities are all to blame. Bad habits are also responsible. American has no real goal in mind lately. We need something to work toward.

America WAS the greatest country in the world until its bad characteristics began to assert themselves. From the 60's to the 80's we were the best. Even during the 90's, the world looked to us. Lately, we have been floundering.

No, the people are starting to wake up. It's a slow process, but people are angery. If the American people would stop bitching over right and left and just find what they agree on, like the constitution. Then we can unite and kick these bastards out of our government.

Yes, but it is not going to happen next week, or next year. Nobody alive today will live to see it, and when it does come, most people will only notice a gradual change.
