I would give it back. Because you never know, you could be on a prank-pulling tv show! lol

If I saw who dropped it, then I would immediately give it back. I would hope that someone would do the same for me.

My mom once found $50 as she was exiting the store. It was between two entrance doors. She picked it up and waited from nearby. She saw an elderly lady looking for it about five minutes later. The woman was in tears. My mom approached her and asked what was wrong. The woman said she lost a $50 bill and was all she had for food for the remainder of the month. My mom gave it back to her and the woman hugged her and thanked her many times. My mom said it felt better than finding $50.

I once recieved too much change back from an elderly lady at Taco Bell years ago. When I immediately gave it back to her, she had tears in her eyes and said "Thank you for being so honest, young man". I smiled and looked up and said "We can thank my mother".

I'd give it back if I saw who dropped it. You never know how a person will be affected by the loss of even a dollar. We never know what people may be going through. Could be that persons last dollar. You just never know. What would I gain? Some pocket change in exchange for decency and integrity?

I would give it back, I know how hard it is to make money and i know if i dropped money i'd want someone to give it back to me, plus, i'd feel guilty keeping it knowing i didn't earn it, so i'd give it back to them, now, if it were the other way around and it was laying there and i didn't see any one drop it at all of course i'd keep it becasue someone would come along and take it....

I would say "Hey, you dropped this!"

Even if it was 1000 dollars. I have, in fact returned 500 dollars to a person who withdrew from an ATM, and dropped their wallet out of their back pocket.

They offerred me 20. I said no.

Money can be made. Integrity, unmade, can never be regained.

I wouldn't keep it. If I saw them drop it I'd give it back to them. Otherwise I would try to find the owner if I didn't see it dropped.
