The most music and melody lays in the darkness for only when we can not see can we truly hear.

Dark holds visual, or--Newtonian--secrets, blatantly seen & observed in the light. Light may be so filled, we have to look all sorts of places for the "secrets."
The second question is very provoactive. If you had asked, "which has more MUSIC, melody or silence" it would be easier. For me, it would be silence. (Shame on me, I scanned some answers first) I want to remark on one that I sincerely don't understand, so I'm not being critical. I wonder how "...dark holds melody" & "...light holds silence." I can't wrrap my mind around that. There are different "secrets" in both dark & light.

there are no secrets in the light, only in the dark.
Closures, whether literal or metaphoric hold secrets.
As they come open, secrets and the unknown are revealed in the light, and thus become dark no more.

In silence we hear everything we want to hear. I mean, we hear everything in our mind. It's so quiet that sometimes, our hearts sound like ticking wall clocks. In silence, we can even hear angels singing. It all depends in which silence we are in.
Melody is always part of music. Music isn't music without it. Music is but a poem without melody. It is music we can hear in silence. Silence cannot produce melody....Music has it.

The light holds more secret,because in the dark you can hold what you may but to have someone find it......it is a misery.But through light nothing is hiden and nothing could be lost.The light has many ways in being what it may.But to keep a secret it can be hiden,while those believe in the dark could be easier.But what they don't realize is that there are 2 sides of light and dark.The dark holds melody.Because if you hide the secret in there,one trys to follow the melody,and when followed it can be found. And while light holds silence,if there is no melody or music there is nothing that can be found.So people don't have the urge in looking for something while to them cannot be found.So light difinetly. =)
