I just started watching Desperate Housewives, and I was wondering, is the character Andrew Van De Kamp gay?
I know it's not like a big deal or anything, but I've been watching the show like "Oh he definitley is. No wait... I guess he's not. No wait he has to be. Oh, I guess not" Anyone know?
Oh! While I have you Desperate Housewife fans here, I gotta ask, who is Mary Alice? Like, I know she's the narrator of the show, but is she an actual character to? Or just a disembodied voice.

Yes, he is gay.
The disembodied voice was a character who committed suicide in the first episode of the first series, which was all about why she did it.

I thought he was just "gay" to piss his mum off coz he hated her and wanted to piss her off so he went off and slept with that Justin guy...but who knows..i dont watch that show anymore i only watched the first season and a bit of the second. :)
