The same thing happens to me too. It works out great because my period only lasts about 3 days max. Everything is fine.

I've been on (and off) the pill much longer than you - 4 kids. My period usually starts the second or third day after coming off the pill (on the sugar pills). It varies, so as long as you are getting a period on the breaks, its all OK, so relax.

Those pills.....Yes, I had the same dillema with taking and then not taking, and then taking,,,,,and then forgetting....etc...
Your body is not used to that, it's used to a cycle, but when the pill disrupts that cycle, yes, there is change that is noticed by you.
I had a patch for about a year and a half, and I forgot to apply one once. I skipped a cycle and thought I was pregnant again, but I ended up having my cycle late. My body is all whacked out because of the patch, becuase I bought those pregnancy tests, and they came up negative.
I realize that the drugs that make us infertile are also messing up our hormones, that is what makes us 'fertile' in the first place.
If you are truly concerned about your cycle, then don't use birth control for about six months, but PLEASE USE caution with sex.......Then you will know if your hormones are off or if it is just the pills......

take a pill with a 28 day cycle. some of the pills are sugar you know if you take a pill every day you are taking it right. your period should be regular and you have the option of skipping a period if you have an important event, just skip the sugar, throw it out. don't do it always, but for a special occassion?!

Maybe your doctor needs to adjust your pill or give you a different brand.
