Total human waste.

Release him.

YES, they should release him. I think they would like to do so, but the NFL commissioner wants a crack at him first, Goodell has asked that the Falcons wait until he is through with him before they exact any punishment on the monster.

Yes, as an Atlantan, a Falcons fan, and a former Vick fan, he is a disgrace. Most of us here in Atlanta are ashamed he is associated with this city.

What is disgusting, despicable cretin he is. I will hate this monster until the day I die.

NO because what happens if he turns out to be innocent? If he is the Falcons will suffer more than he will because they will take a $15 MILLION salary cap hit next year that will keep them from signing or keeping free agents. They should suspend him for the four games, which is the maximum allowed by the CBA, and wait.

They need to be able to release him without having to pay his outrageous $13 million a year salary. If they can be relieved of that, then they should release him. I would think if he is convicted of a felony on the federal charge the Falcons won't be obligated to pay him a dime.

He's innocent until proven guilty. He says he had no knowledge of what was going on at the house, and I believe him to a point.

I don't like Michael Vick, not a fan, or a Falcons fan for that matter, so my comments aren't just defending him because I like him, I'm looking at the facts given so far. I believe he might have known his Cousin was involved in illegal activities, but not sure if he knew all the details that were going on at the house. Vick is very wealthy of course and owns around 8 houses. His family (non immediate) cannot support themselves, so Vick does it for them. He allowed his cousin to live in the house, because he is obviously a deadbeat, which would explain where the dog fighting came from.

His cousin has said that he himself, not Michael Vick, was responsible for the operation. You hear of dogs being smashed to the ground, electrocuted, and beaten. I'm almost sure Michael himself has never done this to a dog. Not to say that he is any Saint of course, because if he was aware of illegal activity at the house then obviously he is at fault and needs to be prosecuted.

If evidence is given that he was participating fully in the operation, ie breeding, importing, gambling on these dogs then yes give him a maximum jail sentence/fines.

Just don't jump to conclusions.

To the one defending him, eyewitnesses have said Michael Vick has been present at the dog fights...So, thats probably what the government has on him...

Sure if you want to start rebuilding the team.

The salary cap hit they'll have to absorb will destroy the team for 3-4 years. It'll take them that long to recoup. They'll be worse than the Lions/Cardinals/Browns.
