Can any one explain me the eulers theorem in mathematics?and how it is used to solve problem along with example

hey ,
there are many theorems of euler based on calculus , vector calculus , etc...... which one u want to understand.
anyways i have one for u ,
let z = f(x,y) be a homogeneous function of x and y.
then
x*partial diffrentiaton of z w.r.t x + y*partial dif.. w.r.t y = nz.
where n is the degree of the funtion.
dont try to understand the proof. you will go mad.
