Happiness is having what you want and wanting what you have. Happiness is loving yourself, others, the world and life.
Happiness is focusing on the beauty in life rather than the ugliness. True happiness isn't about money or sex (though these things can certainly add to happiness) it is about love and peace and satisfaction. If you love yourself, you're more than halfway there. Everything else is just icing on the cake...

Happiness is a much misunderstood word.

For many, happiness is something pleasure giving . It is sensation based, provided by the 5 sense organs. Sex , Love , money related .. are all sensation based pleasure and they are not lasting, let alone everlasting. They start and abruptly end and sadness starts again .You seek another pleasure mistaking it for happiness again.

Happiness is a state in which the body , soul and the mind are all in a blissful state. There is serenity within and anything worldly donot overtly affect this state of mind. It is not easy to attain this state as many people wrongly assume that for this state one has to sacrifice everything worldly. It is not so. If a person is able to understand himself , knowledge of himself then he/ she will be able to se things in a wider perspective. One becomes a itness to the things happening around without getting disturbed. This self Knowledge is the key to happiness.

happiness is found in the arms of a beloved or in the laughter of a happy crowd. happiness is not in the mere possession of money, nor the bliss of ecstatic sex; it lies in the enjoyment of achievement, in the thrill of unrelenting love.

true happiness can last as long as any one of us would like it to be. i find happiness to be as much beautiful yesterday as today and if tomorrow it will still be the same, then i guess i find happiness to be very pleasant. =)

There is a difference between joy and happiness. For most people happiness is busyness; things that distract us from thinking about our problems.

Joy is the deeply held conviction that everything comes out all right at the end of the book. It is, in fact, the idea that God is in charge. "Be still, and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10.

"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Thou art with me" (from the 23rd Psalm)

Happiness for me is LOVE. Theres nothing more obvious. Whether it's love from your friends, your family or your partner, love is so important. The best feeling and happiness you will ever experience (in my opinion) is feeling loved, needed and wanted...you cant feel any better than that. Depending who it is, it could last forever, but maybe it wont ..:(

Happiness is when you are content with yourself, and deaf to the judgements of the outside world.

The only thing that makes us unhappy is doubt caused by others in ourselves. Maybe to simplistic, but true in my belief nonetheless.
