That is actually one of the saddest songs ever recorded. The song is about a dad that is too busy to spend time with his son. When the son grew up, he was to busy to spend time with his day. That's why the following lyrics are so sad:
"And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me
He'd grown up just like me
My boy was just like me"
I've vowed not to be that parent. My parents were there for me and I am there for my little one.

Yes I have. I have a wooden doll cradle that my cats took turns sleeping in.

Actaully, I once put a cat in a cradle. The mother of the baby who was supposed to be in it laughed and asked me to not do that again. ; )

Yes, my little sister used to put the cat in a dress and into a stroller, bassinette, or cradle when she was bored. Why that cat put up with that, I'll never know...
