i have just got a Desktop Hard Drive it has 320GB and 7200 RPM?

and like i do not know how it works the installations says that to just plug the power cord to the power outlet and to the hard drive also to plug the usb cord to the computer and hard drive and thats it can anyone tell me how this thing works

That's about all there is to it. The pc USB senses another hard drive, so it installs as a D: or the next letter. Done!
