I suppose it is possible for CO to serve as a reductant for Al2O3, although that is not how alumina is reduced commercially.

In that case the reaction would be:

Al2O3 + 3 CO = 3 CO2 + 2 Al

There is no reaction (at reasonable temperatures).
This is why Al is extracted from Al2O3 by electrolysis, and not using a Blast Furnace like Fe.
