If your not driving I would sleep or listen to music if you have an Ipod. If not, enjoy the views .....road trips are always the best. Bring a portable dvd player and bring some movies to pass the time or chit chat with the driver to keep them company or from falling asleep. I'm going to Orlando always in a few weeks I can't wait it should be a lot of fun. Have fun and enjoy the ride!

I have been co-pilot on a 22 hour trip to Disney. I packed Jelly Belly jelly beans and made the driver guess the flavor (have a bag to spit it out, it would be sickening to eat them all). Bring . Bring music for the CD/Cassette player in the car. Disney music is a plus. Bring carrots/celery/pop rocks/pretzels and sandwiches. Read the road atlas and hunt for the next public rest area. Bring change and small bills to buy junk from the vending machines at the rest stops.

Save some of your planning... like what you plan to do on each day to your road trip. Take brochures and books on things you are hoping to do...like Disney World for instance and look at them while you are on the road. This will get everyone psyched about what is to come!!!

A few ideas: Bring books or magazines to read, take a camera and take a photo of all the "Welcome To-" signs of each state. You can also take photos at any stops you make.

Bring music to listen to. If everyone can't agree, take portable devices w/ headphones.

Believe me, time will pass quicker than you think! (I live a 24 hour drive from Orlando!)

You could sing "6300 bottles of beer on the wall."

If the average verse of that song takes 8 seconds to sing, when you get to zero bottles of beer on the wall, you'll be there.
