Never. That's the fastest way to make me ditch a website altogether if there are too many pop ups or those annoying buzzing ad things.

Spam the spammers.

Not from web spam but I used to get a lot of fax spam (worse -it uses up ink and paper and so costs money). Against my better judgement I used two. One was a scam and cost me £200 (a debt-collector that went bust!) and the other was for cheap 0870 numbers which I have used and its been fine. Its a bad idea to do it tho.

Not one advertised by the spam though.
I already had a popup stopper before I went onto the internet.

I love spam and always buy it... lightly fried and then plced onto a bed of lettuce and onto a sandwich mmmmmmmm..
Used to love pop ups also but kept on burning my tongue on the chocolate ones.

Never and I can't imagine any sucker falling for those stupid misspelled messed up ads either. I can't believe they are at all effective. Good Question!

.. yea for virus, i used McAfree for $25... the pop-up theres free one from Yahoo! toolbar.. this is what i used to protect my computer from viruses other then firewall.

Similarly I never buy stuff from letterbox flyers.
