Sorry dude, wasn't a fan of his "Ziggy Stardust" days...I know the big cult hit was "Starman" but just never was a fan of it.

Thought he was a weirdo and a joke after rumors of him and Mick Jagger "hooking up" after which, not too long after, Mick had the his "Angie", which was Bowie's wife at the time of the alleged "liason" Bowie had with Mick.

I think his best works were on the 1983 album "Let's Dance" in the early 80's with "Under Pressure", "China Girl" and "Modern Love" (did not care for the title song, personally).

He has since turned into being a very gifted actor; best example is his portrayal of Nikolai Tesla in "The Prestige"...when I watched the film the only thing I could tell was the guy looked familiar, and I had to look it up online to find out it was David Bowie...he was that good in that film!

Not a fan. But "suffragette city" was the best thing Bowie ever did.

This is what some site had to say about it:

Penultimate song on THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS (1972) and one of Bowie's all time personal favourites. It was recorded at London's Trident Studios sometime between 12-18 January 1972. It was performed live on all Ziggy Stardust Tours and later on the Dimaond Dogs, Station to Station, Stage & Sound + Vision Tours.
