I am new to blogging and I created a blog a few weeks ago.
Today, I created a sitemap to subit it to google.What I understood by reviewing previous answers is, first , I hav to paste the sitemap code in my blog.But, it is in xml format.I don't know where to and how to paste it in my blog(www.blogger.com). and how to submit it to google webmaster tools.

No you do not need to add the xml format for Blogger. You can add a general sitemap by rss feed.

or just go to Blogger, click on 'Help' then 'Help Center' and type in sitemap in the search box.
