God intended each man to cut their hair in a way that is culturally acceptable for the society you live in.
So if waxing in normal God would expect you to wax.
If you belonged to a special religion that required a religious hair style then God would expect you to do you best style for the religion you where involved with.
Samson is a good example of someone who failed is his religious duties - getting his hair cut - he paid a high price for it!
My use of 'man' is neutral in this case and implies 'mankind' ie woman as well.

Well, certainly if no women shaved you'd soon see how many of them have moustache, beard and body hair growth to equal that of men -- and the percentage is much higher than you might imagine.

in my country, people dont really give much attention on the physical aspect, maybe because we dont have that much money to be that much conscious about our physical appearance. i'm one of the species of woman who have more hairs than ussual, but it never bother anyone... some boys would like it, other would rather want it shaved or waxed, i think its whats make a person feel better about herself and not what others would want her or him to look like... i mean, if i shave or if i dont shave, its because i feel comfortable with it and not because others expect me to shave or not to shave.
