I lost a dear friend last week and he had his funeral well planned out. It is just not something I have ever thought about before.

Yep...put me in a pine box and plant me. I don't want to be embalmed or any of that other pricey stuff. The quicker I'm in the ground, the better. To me, death isn't the end...it's just another door to enter.

I want to be cremated and placed in a urn that I have decorated. Take me to the American Legion Hall that was rented for the occasion. There all my friends could celebrate my life with food and drinks, that were paid for with the money that would have gone to the funeral director. Party on everyone, I'll see you soon. That would be my message to them....Sorry about the loss of your friend.

I haven't thought much about the funeral, but I do know that I want to be cremated. Preferably turned into a large diamond. http://www.lifegem.com/

I think the funeral is for the people you leave behind and if they want to have one, they can.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

I lost a friend last week as well, and she had her eulogy all written up AND she even had the Menu planned and all organized. She didn't know she was dying or anything it was a very sudden heart attack. But it was so typically her, nobody was surprised to find her notes all written up.
Her memorial is next Sunday, I guess lobster its going to be.

I guess some people are just that way, they like to have things planned out. I guess all we should do is follow their last wishes as best as we can!

Sorry to hear of your loss...it tough!

Open the doors and shove what's left into the fire then spread the ashes and thank God I'm gone.
Yey me!
I would rather no one cried when I die and instead celebrated my passing with a party instead of a wake, so while I'm turning to ash you should all be getting smashed and having fun.

At my moms funeral I will have them play In The Arms Of The Angels low in the background.
She is in such bad shape I think I need to start gathering the stuff I'll need so I'm ready.
Yep it hurts!

I've already written it down. No wearing black, pink flowers, absolutely NO CRYING, no weird hymns. My song is gonna be Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.

Hey, it's my funeral! I'll have it how I want it!

yeah i have thought about it especially after my dad died. the one thing that i would want at my funeral is at least a little bit of laughter and not too many tears. i would want people to come and remember me for who i was and all the good times not just come and think about not seeing me ever again. because even tho my body may one day sleep forever my spirit will remain :)

If I would plan my funeral, I will want something fun, so they can always remember me the good, and the fun times!
