The Cheapest way is buying it from someone who is desperate for money. The most expensive way is to buy a new one from the Dealer.
Look in your local newspaper for a used Harley. Never buy a new Harley let the yuppies, rubs and wannabee pay all the new bike fees, wait a year and buy on that is 1 year old with 200 miles on it and save thousands, usually around $3,500.

The easiset way is thru the dealer, yes they get a high price, but the dealer financing is easy, very low down, low interest, and that way you get a bike that someone else hasn't thrashed, it has a full warranty too. Right now, you can buy a 1200 sportster for $99.00 down. I've bought em new and used, used you may get for less money, but you have to either pay cash, or get your own financing, usually not as good on the interest rate, and your buying on faith that it has been taken care of. Remember, they are selling it for a reason. Sometimes the reason is it's got hidden flaws.
