I might be moving to Niagara County, NY. Is that a fun, interesting, good place to live?

Hmmm. I guess there are three parts to Niagara County. The tourist area goes around the gorge and falls, and is quite beautiful. The commercial district has grown up around Niagara Falls, relying on the relatively cheap power supplies by the power project. Niagara Falls is pretty gritty and relatively poor, so it's less than charming in spots. The rest of the country is pretty open for farmland. with the northern edge bordering Lake Ontario.

Outside of the falls and shore, and it's not an interesting area in terms of topography. The highest point in the county is a landfill, I believe. You are close to Buffalo (30 minutes) and Toronto (90 minutes), which have more big city advantages.
