ive had a light period for two weeks its mostly brownish it went away for one whole day then came right back i have no nausea or cramping anyone know what might be causing this? im 21 i usually dont have a period but once every 4 0r 5months always been irregular but now im worried i had gallbladder surgery two weeks ago also i dont think that has anything to do with it though...

Sometimes surgery can cause the body to be stressed out and cause the kind of bleeding you have: breakthrough bleeding which can act a lot like a period.

I would recommend getting in touch with your doctor to let them know what's going on so that they can evaluate the situation further.

sounds like you have a hormonal imbalance. I used to do this and I went for blood tests and an ultrasound. It turns out that I have poly cystic ovaries. Its totally treatable and life is alot better. Get to your gyno or doc and ask them for some simple tests.
