I was named after my aunt, but it is also a city in Italy, as well. It really sucked growing up with it too because I have yet to meet someone with my name & no I am not telling.

A singer that was popular in the late 70's-but it backfired because she later was known for her Psychic Friends Network...now I'm always asked if I know people's future...(and sports fan's think of the football player by the same name, different spelling-and older folks always think of this really dorky 50's singer and his group)-you got the clues-figure out my name!

Deirdre of the Sorrows. It is an Irish legend of a beautiful Irish woman who was supposed to marry a king, but was in love with another man. this man and his three brothers were murdered by the king, and Deirdre was left to mourn her lover's death. The name translates to "sorrow". Great story, innit? And, my middle name is my grandmother's name.
