I found this patch of four leaf clovers in my yard and i took a pic of some of them. Do these pics do them justice?

The first picture is the better one. ...But both are great! I have found 2 patches of 4 leaf clover in my yard only twice in my life! once in the 70's when i was a kid , and once about 4 years ago! (at a different house)... My kids picked them all and I havent seen one again in the yard. I pressed them in books and just recently had some mounted and framed, so that each of us have "good luck" hanging in our "rooms".....Try not to pick them all and see if they keep producing the 4 leaf kind....That is SOOOO cool!...

Is it a whole patch of them? Really unusal for there are said to be only 1 four leaf clover to every 10,000 3 leaf clover/...what a find if you have a whole patch of them!!!

Nice combination of textures. From an artistic standpoint the single leaf centered is a bit trite. Asymmetrical placement of subject in the frame would be more visually interesting, or even having three as opposed to one would be more powerful.

I would have liked to seen the stem in the first photo. I had no idea they were so rare until I read 'beachrats' answer. I remember as a kid, competing with my cousins to see who could find the most 4s in my grandmothers lawn. We would find a dozen in no time, no Blarney. RScott
