By preference mold I mean: let's say you're really attracted to blondes and preferably creative artists; but this brown haired college student whom is really physically attractive and has lots of great qualities that draw you in. You usually prefer / mostly attracted only to blondes and really creative and artistic girls, but this new girl is so great - you're equally or more attracted to her then your usual type.
Or as attractive as this person may be, would you be more attracted to a person who fitswithin your preference mold / type?

If I connect with a person it don't matter what my preference is. Opposites usually attract and when you set such high standards of who you will date you end up disappointed.
