Their defense was suspect to begin with. I don't think this year will be as easy for them as last.

Colts organization knows how to draft extremely well. They do so about 3 years in advance. They have so much talent waiting to play that is ready to explode but have not had a chance. Hayden and Jackson are some seriously great players and will prove it in the next couple seasons. No one wants to jump on players until they break some record or have an amazing season. Shawne Merriman is a great exaple. 2 years and he already goes up as one of the greats. LT breaks Alexanders record by one TD and you hear nothing but LT for months. We have players that are ready and have been ready to actually replace players that were not as good. Ugoh will be a great replacement from what I saw in college from him and Gonzalez is a no question sleeper receiver. He will have 1000 yards if he starts on day one. Mathis and Freeney along with Sanders, Hayden, and Jackson. Clark, Gonzalez, Wayne, Fletcher, Harrison, Morehead, Addai, and Manning. Not to mention the amazing coaches. Enough about the Pats and Chargers. Colts only better their team year after year and this year is no different.

When you lose 3 solid starters on a bad defense, it doesn't matter what system you run - it will make a difference. Depending on how the replacements do will have a huge impact.
Also, the offense can't be expected to continue to play perfect football year after year. One or two injuries on that side of the ball, and the Colts are in for a historically bad season.

Bro, they arent gonna run cover 2 every play. If they run cover 2 every play, then lol they gonna get scored on like nothin. Every time they call a Man defense bad things have a chance of happening.
Cato June was the best linebacker they had, with consistent playmaking ability and good speed.
The Colts already had very little playmakers on their defense, now they only have 3 good players on defense. Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney, and Robert Mathis. Their run defense is gonna be even worse than last year lol. Now their pass defense is gonna be worse too. Things are gonna get ugly.

It was the worst defense in football. I mean historically bad. You had to go back into th'30s and '40s to find teams as bad in some stats.
Its not like the bare was real high.
Moe, Larry, and Curly might do as well.
Wake me if something happens to Peyton Manning.

The defense was spotty at best to begin with and losing the 2 corners and Cato June didn't help.
Now you have Peyton's blind side to worry about because Tarik Glenn just retired.
