Sounds like something said in a movie from the 40's or something.
Being that I feel it's outdated, I would never use it because I don't want people thinking I'm that old.

no. but I have suggested another shirt for him or another hat. But that not a question I'd say !!! I may say something more like "Hey? Where's your green hat?" he'd say why? and I'd reply, "Because, it would go better with that nice shirt dear"!!! Then I'd smile, and walk away !!!! :)
And I'd never tell anyone that to their face. cuz its rude. While it may be true....its really not necessary to be so rude.
