Yes this will effect the pill and the penicillin will effect your cycle for about a month afterwards. It doesn't matter if he didn't ejaculate inside of you, sperm is always 'leaking out', so to speak. It is a possibility you are pregnant, but I reckon don't stress until you have to! Keep taking the pill and keep an eye out when your period is next due. If you end up being late, take a pregnancy test. Good Luck

Every time you have sex there is a chance of being pregnant with or with out an type of birth control. But any antibiotic and birth control pills taken together make the "pill" way less effective.

You really need to ask your doctor about this. I know that any antibiotic can make BC pills ineffective but I have no idea about when you have to start using an alternative birth control method. Maybe an OB/GYN doc or RN will see this and answer this for you.

1st: Even thought he did not ejaculate in you, the fluid that prceeds the semen can contain some semen.

2nd: Penicillin and all antibiotics take at least 7 days to disipate from the body.

So you may or may not be pregnant contact your doctors office and explain the situation to the doctor if available or speak with the nurse.
