If it involves mineral oil, why specifically mineral oil? And how long does it take total?

Mink oil, not only will it condition the leather it will also clean it when need be. But the first time applying it should be applied liberally & then squished in half (the same position it will be in when your hand has it in the closed position) between 2 flat heavy objects for atleast 2 days, then it's game on baby!

There's special glove oil you can buy that you rub on everyday. The ball in the glove tied shut overnight works as well. Finally, play catch with it, working it to loosen up as often as you can works like a charm.

You'll be able to loosen it up fairly quickly, but you really "break in" a glove it takes a few weeks.

im 12 and my dad played baseball and we usually put a ball in the glove and put a shoe or somthing on the other end and let it sit for a hour od so. you dont need mineral oil.

First rub some leather oil/glove softner on it. Put it in a plastic bag. Put a ball in it, tie it up how you are comfortable catching with and put it under your mattress. Sleep on it for a day or two.

they have some foams you can rubb on it that can make it softer so its more playable. What i use to do was tye a piece of rope or anything long enough around the glove and put a ball in it and place it under your bed while you sleep that losen's it up also...hope this helps

you culd just wrap a ball in it. tie it with sumthing let it sit overnight and wala! you culd use mineral oil tho

get it wet first then run it over with your car a few dozen times.works great!
