She is very rich, but how come she is not happy. I think she is trying to make me feel down by always commenting on my looks. I know I am not all polished up but did I ever complaint about hers?
There was one occasion during a lunch, when her boss asked us who was older. I said me. The boss shocked and said he thought the other way round. After her boss left, she said, don't be flattered because he was only pulling your leg. In the car, she repeated saying, he was like that, afterwards he would pull you down. Ok, in the afternoon, she called me again, said, she already scolded him, said I didn't like him commenting about our ages.
Another occasion I brought her to buy good branded items at my friend's shop for good bargain. She picked up the best one like 6 of them and when time of paying, she said to my friend, hey it's better I pay in the room, not in front of her (pointing on me). I didn't get it at first. Soon I realized she thought I was getting her money.

We've been friends since in college. That's why I kind of cherish our friendship. But, I can't put up with her true color any longer. I have been ignoring her. I thank you all for your opinion and advice. Now, I am sure that it is alright to do that.

Why do you put up with her attitude?
It's one thing to be joking,but to humiliate you in front of others? PLEASE tell her how you feel... tell her how you feel she is supposed to be your closest friend when she is the one who is hurting you the most. This is going to be very difficult and if you do this... DO NOT USE THE WORD 'YOU' it is an attacking word and will only make things worse.
ex.... I feel as though when WE are together some where, MY feelings are hurt by words being said... and I feel like I'M always being humiliated when I thought WE were really good friends...
And in the end... if she doesnt want to comply... than break all ties...sure it is easier said than done... but believe me.... once you stick with some one who abuses you and humliates you... in the end you are left broken and with doubts of your self worth... don't sell yourself short...

It sounds like your friend puts you down because she needs to make herself feel better....
It seems like she has issues to deal with and you deserve a better friend then that. I would distance myself from her and spend time with other friends who treat you the way you treat them.

sounds like she has problems ..maybe even a little jealous .... money doesn't buy you everything ....next time she puts you downs have a strop ...then she may think twice the next time .....sure she likes your friendship and trust ..but enough is enough back of see who comes running .......

she definitely has issues, obviously she is jealous of you. whether she has money or not that doesn't mean she's better than you.. and by making you feel like **** she feels better about herself.
she's not a friend and definitely not worth it!
give her the boot !

This is not a friend. Avoid her. She is nothing but trouble!!!!! She will always be a thorn in your side. Friends don't treat other friends like that!!!

well do you got any secrets against her that you think she might know?
how long have you known eachother? if its long then shes probaly just extremely depressed.
last thing i can think of is shes just a ***, if none of them work just confront her, and try to resolve it peacefully...if it doesnt work, o well
