how much food should you feed your beda fish?

each food says somthing different. one says as much as it can eat in thirty seconds...the other says three pieces twice a day...and the other says as much as it can eat in 3 minutes..please help! i dont want to starve my fish and i dont want to over feed it eather.

I generally feed mine twice a day. I always give them pellets at one meal, and that will be about 4-5 of the betta pellets. The second feeding I mix up what I feed. Some days it'll be additional pellets, or frozen bloodworms or daphnia, some it'll be live mosquito larvae, and once a week I give them a little bit of cooked green pea with the skin removed to prevent constipation, which bettas can get. The second feeding I only give them what they can eat in about 2-3 minutes.

my bettas both get 3 to 4 to 5.just give them 4 or 5 of those dry foods,because i had the mistake of feeding mine whenever she looked hungry,and after a while she was so fat,i thought she would burst.shes on a diet now.but she used to get6 to7 a day.bad idea.my male dont eat that much.

3 to 4 pellets twice a day is good. by the way, the food should also say "betta" because that's the correct spelling, check it out. if your food seriously says "beda" I'd find a different food.

I gave mine 3 to 4 pieces once a day.

Unless it has been fasting for some time- then give 5-6 each time.
