Geeze, beating the snot out of Tampa and Toronto is not exactly something to get excited about. Not only that, but Boston has been keeping pace while fending off far better teams. Now, if the Yankees roll over the BoSox like they did last year, then you'll have something to celebrate, but lets be clear:
1. The Yanks are STILL the furthest back of any second place team.
2. The Wild Card isn't coming from the AL East
3. The Yanks STILL don't have the rotation to get through a playoff series
4. The Yanks will probably be watching the playoffs at home, and definitely be off-season come world series time.

Sure the Yankees scored a million runs in their last couple of games, but against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays! The Devil Rays aren't exactly the hottest team in the MLB! Just because they beat bad teams, dosen't mean they are hot!
