depends on what they are crying about - if its sad or personal, I would probably cry about the topic, not because they are crying.
But I think that your sympathy for your friend is very sweet.

No not openly i cry on the inside though
When my friends cry i just try and be supportive and strong for them unless the situation demands for my grief also I'm not afraid of a few tears

Oh yes. It just shows that you have feelings for your friend or family member and feel sympathy for them. I cry at the drop of a hat. When my mother cries I cry. When my best friend cries I cry. There is nothing wrong with that.

Yes, I cry when I see them in suffer and something really bad has happend to them, not just because they are crying. If they were crying about silly matters I would try my best to give them comfort but I wont cry.

I have one friend who we both are very open with. We don't bother hiding tears from each other anymore. We've been there for each other in our darkest of hours, have held each other through some really bad cries. We're practically family and we have no problem crying with each other.

I cry when my boyfriend cries...it's kind of wierd, but we have some sort of wierd connection with each other...like we can read one anothers mind...I don't know but that's just me!
I hate it when he cries because he's gonna be 17 in a few days...

yep... on the last day of school I wasn't that sad, and I wasnt at all going to cry... butt then I saw one of my friends cry, and I started crying.. then I left, and I stopped, and then I came back and felt like crying again...
