Neither.

Two Explanations bellow for one of the two answer that you are looking for...

Because if you don't have both in a relationship, one part of the equation isn t equal. And the Equation in a relation needs to be equal. You must be loved, and also love back. Also known as give and take.

To be loved is annoying if you do not love the person loving. And to love but not be loved back is just as torturous.

Your question is flawed. Yet very intellectual. Good Question.

I do believe it is best to love someone else, because by
doing this, you have found so much love, within yourself,
that you might not have recognized that was there, before.
And you will find so much more contentment with your-
self, when you love other people, no matter who they are.
I am a very compassionate person, and my focus is the
children, and their needs, and I like to reach out in kindness
to them.
But when I see a Need, I try to find a Resource for it, but
sometimes there's just none there, and then I reach out to
talk to a State Senator or U.S. Congress person, just in
case something can be done, to improve life for the people
of America.
If you could share something each day, what are you sharing?

Nethier it is best to love and be loved in return. An unrequited or non mutual love is heartbreaking and painful. When someone loves you and you do not love them it also hurts to know you can't feel that same type of strong emotional bond they feel to you. I guess if you had to choose to be loved seems like the more happier choice but it can be as painful as the other way around too.

Which one is more beautiful, the object or the image. To be loved is the mirror image of being loved plus the eternal merger of the object with the image and vice versa.A distant view may give the impression of the two being separate but in the ultimate reality, it's one and the same.

Being loved is self gratification. Loving another is an exercise in building a beautiful soul. It is better by far to love others for the mere fact that it build you into a wonderful person.
The added benefit is that others will love you for it.

I would say to be loved. It feels good. Everyone wants to feel special, wanted & cared for. But at the same time it feels nice sharing that feeling.
