Yes I was lucky enough to find my soul mate when I was 20.We have been married for eight years and he still takes my breath away.

I thought so, 27 years ago when I met him, and I kept thinking that for a quarter of a century.
We dated, got married, had kids...
Actually, we are still married.
Then I hit 50 last month (and I did not get fat or out of shape) and today he just told me he has a Chinese girlfriend and wants a divorce...but he does not want anybody to know...not even our kids!!!
And to think that I could not believe one of my best friend when she told me this would happen just because it happened to her. No, I had a good marriage...at least I thought...
So your question should not be "Is your sweetheart the love of your life?" but more like: "Do you think your sweetheart is the love of your life?"
In love, you cannot have certainty, only hope.

I thought she was (when you're young and in love...you're kinda stupid but you think you're smart).
Time proved me wrong.
I hope I'm like a cat and that I have several lives so at least she could have been the love of one of my lives.
Now I have to find the love of my life again...

You can't tell til the future!!
No one knows who the love of their life is. Even if you are married, they may not be the love of your life -you could break up in a few years and not even expect it!
