My Pe teachers were great, they always chose the worst athletes to do the picking, that way it was often the best ones who were left til last and they didn't mind as they already knew they were good.
I think that always having the same elite athletes doing the picking is very tough, unless they are very generous natured, as they would obviously try to pick the best athletes for their team.

Towards the end definately, but I must have just been really unpopular as I was a sports freak. Ran 1500 and 3000m for the school, was in the netball and hockey teams and was pretty good at field sports. God I've just realises how unpopular I was, thanks for that, It's only 7.46am here. Oh what sort of day is it going to be!!!

For the most part I was picked last. But then again it really depended on the sport. Most of the kids knew I wasn't a very good runner, so sports like hockey, and soccer I was always the first one picked for like goaly. But that is about it.

No. I was NEVER picked. Mainly becasue I ducked when the ball came my way & I wasn't a fast runner. During dodge ball I'd get hit on purpose so I cold sit out w/ my friends & talk, I sort of quit trying.
As an adult, I think this affects kids big time. Makes me happy my DD is confident in her swimming & karate acheivements - I think not being picked can really do something to your self esteem. :(

You look familiar; but I can't figure out why...
Love the hair though...
And as far as your question goes that would depend on which game we were playing. If it was hockey/field hockey; I got picked somewhere near the beginning. I was an excellent goalie. But if it was anything else; I'd be just about dead last. And definitely dead last in basketball. Man did I suck at that.

I always kept away - I hated team games! In the whole of my school years I think I only played netball a couple of times and hated it! I was always hiding in the showers! And I think the teacher got suspicious when I had a period nearly every week!! Lol!!

I was always last to be picked because I was no good at sports, and to be honest I hated it. There were certain girls who also used to hit me on purpose with the hockey stick.

I was Captain of the tennis team at school, and also at University, and also represented the county..... so I didn't have to suffer it... although I sympathise with the system of picking teams with that system on the weaker skilled players.

I was usually the team captain. But if not I was always like no later than 3rd or 4th. I'm quite good at sports and stuff.

When I was in my early elementary school days I was always first, as I grew older into high school I slowly progressed to the last as one.
