Hey, I have a thermal barcode printer - and it's not working. We're not sure that our new barcode stickers are thermal paper or not - so we tried putting some already printed barcodes through the printer - and that made a light mark, but didnt actually print. So my question is - if thermal paper has already been printed once, can it be printed on again?

I know it'll have both pieces of text on it - but it dosnt seem to print properly at all - which was why I was wondering if the printing process somehow meant that you couldnt print on the paper anymore at all.

Yes. Thermal paper turns dark where it is heated by the print head. You can do printing any place else if it is still light (if the paper is exposed to overall heat, it darkens all over.)

No, but if you want to have some real fun try putting it in the microwave.
