Evidently you have no idea what Halliburtons profit margin is, off of work done in Iraq.

If so, you wouldn't be calling them a winner.

Oh without a doubt!

Halliburton has riped off American taxpayers big time. GAO (Government Accountability Office) has reported that BILLIONS of dollars are unaccounted for and Halliburton can not show any documentation for the "ghost projects" that were never even initiated.

After WW-II when Truman launched the "Marshall Plan" (European Recovery Program 1947), it proved to be a revolutionary step towards rebuilding and creating a stronger foundation for the allied countries of Europe and repelling communism.

On the other hand, when Dubya gave NO-BID contacts to Halliburton, it ONLY enriched "DICK & Buddy Inc".

That's the difference between a great man and Dubya!

That's why Truman is considered a HERO in Europe and one of the countless reasons why Dubya is seen as a corrupt, incompetent and inefficient leader who is hated around the world.

I don't know about historians, but that's what I know to be the truth! Follow the money to the benefactors. Those who have stock in Halliburton are smug about their 19% increase in profit for the 2nd qtr. Isn't that s-p-e-c-i-a-l? It's that old "I've got mine" attitude that is so admirable!

Historians will come into the picture only when the war is over. For the present there are only script writers/reporters/commentators etc.
Historians will the right volumes and volumes and we will all pay for them.
Loosers either way.

Don't have to be a historian to see that.

It will be very interesting to see which Board of Directors Bush will be sitting on after he leaves office.

It's the only company that gets all of its money when they submit a bill to the government. Interesting when you consider who the CEO was. Are we paying attention, or just paying to line the pockets of politicians?
