Do Pearls melt in vinegar?

Technically no. Melt is to bring a solid to a temperature high enough to turn it into a liquid.

But a pearl can be dissolved in vinegar if it is left in long enough and their is enough vinegar to do it. Vinegar is acidic, an acid. But a weak one.
