adoption is extremely expensive. also, people want to continue their bloodline.
if i ever decide to have children, i will have one and adopt one.

What's selfish about wanting to create your own children? Now what is selfish are people bringing children into the world that have no intentions of caring for them, all because they don't know how to abstain or use birth control.

i agree but people want children of their own blood. plus if they do adopt its usually only the babies.
