I would hate to see Hillary, Barack or John take the hard earned money of Americans away. Why can't we cut taxes on Americans and instead teach them to save and invest. Americans suck at saving. Americans overspend too much. Did you know that 40% of Americans spend more than they save. I say cut taxes for all Americans and encourage saving and investing.

I understand that there is a very good chance of a Democrat being elected next year thanks to the idiot neo-cons who have hijacked my party. But please, vote Ron Paul.

Let me just add: I liked Bill Clinton. He supported free trade and he did lower taxes when he first took office. I believe Bill Clinton was a better president then the monkey we have in the office now.

Cantcu: As I said above, I am not a Bush fan. Bush has spent way too much. He is not a true Republican. Bush is **** compared to Ron Paul. Paul believes in cutting down on excess, pork spending and has NEVER voted for a Congress pay raise.

Psycmixer: I understand what you are feeling. Those idiots don't deserve a penny raise. However, Ron Paul has NEVER voted for a Congressional pay raise.

Anyway, here is the way I see it. Washington D.C. is corrupt. Whether there is a Republican or Democratic president or congress, they are all corrupt. They all take our money and are there just to help themselves. So shouldn't we pay the lowest possible taxes? I mean, the a**hole politicians are always going to steal from us, then why should we give them more to steal? We might as well pay lower taxes. Unfortunately, many people in the middle class fall for the Democrat claim that somehow raising taxes on the rich is going to help the middle class. It is NOT true.

The Democrats want to raise taxes on the rich and spend it on their own special interests. Believe it or not, they are all corrupt.

and why is there a very good chance a democrat will be elected next year....drum roll please....BECAUSE REPUBLICANS SUCK!!!!

They care nothing about our environment and spend little time focusing on our children...all you have to do is take a look at history and most of the times America was doing great...who was president...a democrat!

All republicans care about is having others do for them...while they go on their hunting adventures and shoot eachoter in the face. And republicans were giving HUGE tax breaks on rich Americans who traveled to other countries to shoot animals such as elephants, tigers, zebra....etc. And thanks to democrats those tax breaks are gone!...

I LOVED the answer....A day inthe life of a republican...so very very true!

It does not mater
it is the congress and house that are the ones to blame and the ones that do not even show up to vote on things.
The President is the one that takes the heat and makes some choices.
But It is not and all Dem, all Rep, all Rep, all Ind, all anything we need it is government reform. What sucks is I have a government job and have not had a raise in 5 years...but these morons voted to give themselves a raise. That I have a hard time with and the fact that they own stock in energy ( oil) so they do nothing while we pay a huge price at the pumps...Imported oil..we import to refine and export...sorry I am now ranting. you get my point...it does not matter who you elect as president..that is a puppet figure and you do not even feel the effects of that until like 5 to 7 years later...Clinton took credit for what Reagon did. And Clinton caused what Bush had to deal with. So dont blame them, blame us...for not voting and not voting for the ones right for the positions.

What are you doing when you rob from the poor to give to the rich!

You ran up a 3 1/2 TRILLION dollar deficit, which is double what Bush inherited when elected! How to you propose we pay the interest on the debt, and we are going to have to pay for a 1/2 Trillion dollar war that is all borrowed money which most goes to people like you! Those on corporate welfare!

I don't think you do Paul a service when you attack Democrats for a deficit run up by Paul's party!

We heard the same garbage from Bush and look what we got!!

How much would it suck to have a Democrat elected?
I dont know how to calculate that number. But my guess on a scale 1 - 100% it would be probably be a %60 sucking while a Republican nominee would be a %0.

Yes! The question is, how much would it suck to have anyone besides Ron Paul elected!? He is the only one who really has his head in the right place. I love everything he stands for. Go Ron Paul!

Well, that would mean that folks would actually have to do things themselves. Imagine that- earning your own way and not having government tell you the proper way to pick your nose.

A Day in the Life of Joe Republican

Joe gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards. With his first swallow of water, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as advertised.

All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer’s medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance - now Joe gets it too.

He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Joe’s bacon is safe to eat because some liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.

In the morning shower, Joe reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained.

Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some liberal environmentalist fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air.
He walks on the government-provided sidewalk to subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.

Joe begins his work day. He has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe’s employer pays these standards because Joe’s employer doesn’t want his employees to call the union.

If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, he’ll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some liberal didn’t think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune.

It is noontime and Joe needs to make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. Joe’s deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some liberal wanted to protect Joe’s money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.

Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and his below-market federal student loan because some liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime. Joe also forgets that in addition to his federally subsidized student loans, he attended a state funded university.

Joe is home from work. He plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some liberal fought for car safety standards to go along with the tax-payer funded roads.

He arrives at his boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers’ Home Administration because bankers didn’t want to make rural loans. The house didn’t have electricity until some liberal stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and demanded rural electrification.

He is happy to see his father, who is now retired. His father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn’t have to.

Joe gets back in his car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn’t mention that the beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day. Joe agrees: “We don’t need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! After all, I’m a self-made man who believes everyone should take care of themselves, just like I have.”
