This was a half-hour show, I think, made up mostly of short skits, featuring young, amateur actors. When someone said certain words, I want to say that slime poured from the ceiling onto their heads, but I'm not entirely sure.
If you have any ideas, let me know. I can't even guess at the title to look it up.
Thanks.

If I remember correctly the show you're thinking of was called, "You Can't Do That on Television".

The name of the show you are refering to was the Canadian skit show "You can't do that on television" the show actually aired originally starting in the 1970's but because of it's humor lasted into the 90's with the creation of Nickelodeon. A person would get slimed mostly whenever they uttered the phrase "I don't know"

The only thing I can think of is Figure It Out. But, I don't think I'm right. You said it was made up mostly of short skits. Figure It Out was a game show. But you're description was DEAD ON except for the skits part.

All That - Didn't have slime though. Was a sketch comedy.
Figure it Out! - When they said a certain word, slime was poured on their heads.

Thats all I can think of.
