My (now ex) wifes mom is who got us together. She married my neighbor, then hired me to fix her daughters car. I was putting a new clutch in the car one time, I set the transmission on my lap, her mom said that she wanted grandkids, so be careful where I set the thing. I hadn't even talked about dating at the time.

Once. A wayward Mormon was introduced to me by my mother thirty years ago and I was asked to find time to be
with the young lady on weekends. My mothers' best friend
had 20+ daughter who might be 'saved' with my attentions.
I took the young woman aside and learned she had a male
friend who was her drinking, sex, and smoking companion.
Returned to my mother and said the Mormon Church was not
getting my services nor 'Jack'. End of discussion.

my parents doesn't put much thoughts actually... they just ask me to find a gf now that I'm still young

but it really depends. I think parents are more mature and sees things from a different perspective while their opinion shouldn't be a decisive factor, it shouldn't be completely ignore either.

My mother is the only one in the picture and she would totally support me no matter who I decided to be with. But if she didn't I would not let that bother me. If I am in love with someone than no one is going to make me change my mind. I will like who I like and if someone else doesn't like it then tough titty said the kitty; cause I am not going to change my opinions to suit others!!!

my mom wants me to be safe on who i pick because of what happen to her back in the day and I can't blame her because it happen against her will. the way my dad acts around me and other people does prevent me to even have a boyfriend because I KNOW he'll scare them away so I don't even try.

If my mom dislikes the guy, then there's gotta be good reason for it. My dad on the other hand, he's not going to like anyone that I'm with.

No, of course I don't pay much attention to what people think or say anyway. I tend to be an independent thinker.
