why do people say arod sucks at fielding?

He switched from his natural position SS to play third, one of the harder positions on the daimond. This year he is having a gold glove year and just had his first error in 47 games the longest active streak in the majors for third basemen. even though his last couple of years werent gold glovish they werent horrible either. so whats up are the expectations just so high for him that if he commits an error or doesnt hit a homerun he suddenly sucks.

He's got 5 errors so far. Ryan Zimmerman, Mike Lowell and Miguel Cabrera lead the majors with 14. All of them play 3B. This year A-Rod is doin ok a third. In years past, he hasn't done anywhere near as nice. He needs to get out of New York so he can go play for another team that will let him play SS

I think that people are just jealous of him, they want to have a reason to hate him and when they get one they jump all over it. It just amazes me how many people jump on the wagon to hate someone so sexy for no reason. I just hope people would see he is a great player and is working hard for everything that is coming and happening to him right now. Keep it up A-ROD, and lets GO YANKEE'S!!!!!!!

he is a great ss but last year as a 3rd baseman he has 24 errors but this year he has 5 so its better than last year
