A funny thought just occurred to me. Do you know where it is now?

Whats funny is I have seen polls where the Majority of Americans don't know how many continents there are, what year 9/11 happened, or even the vice presidents name. I think there were polls and more didn't know than did. I like maps and the world so I knew personaly but I also know where Chechnya is. Americans are so dumbed down that they don't even know that there is no way Jet Fuel can melt steel, or that Norad stood down on 9/11.

I read that they took a survey of troops stationed in Iraq and 40 percent of them could not find Iraq OR the United states on a world map.

Yea, 1991 Iraq incursion into Kuwait. Now that was efficient & smart war by Bush Sr. Smack in the middle between Jordan, Syria, Saudi, Afghan, Iran, Kuwait... borders all those crazy countries.

Yes. Because the first attack on the World Trade Center happened on the second anniversary of the day that Iraqi troops were expelled from Kuwait in 1991.

Yeah, I was the geography geek in school, even though I never took the subject.
I can open up any world atlas from the last 100 years and tell you when it was printed within a two year margin of error.

no i didnt know where it was before which is sad, but yes i do know where it is now.
