It depends on the extent in which you obsess. If your obsession doesn't take over your life, and you can function well in spite of it... then maybe. What are we taking for granted? I don't think about the air I breath, nor do I obsess over it, but I'm glad I have it! Don't want to go without it either.

To me, no. If i really like something and i buy it...i regret it b/c it may be something i really don't need. Sometimes, my parents buy me whatever i'm obsessed...then i regret b/c they bought it for me. Most of the time i take things for granted. But since this is your question...you should try to answer it urself...good luck!

That depends. If you enjoy stress, guilt, anger, loss of sleep, frequent bouts with other unpleasant states -- then obsess.

I don't have a problem with taking any for granted.

To quote the great J.D. of Scrubs "The best way to lose something is to want it too much."
