And honestly, is there any race/religion you or your family would ever disapprove of you dating?

I do not think that the color of peoples skin makes a relationship work. It's in their hearts and if they love each other then that is not only fine with me, it's great with me! I think it's totally awesome when someone finds a person that opens all of those good, tingly feelings inside of them. As for any race my family would disapprove of, I'm sad to say, yes. And it's pretty much any race other than white. I would say they are probably worse with black people and then Mexicans. I pray that someday their views will change and their hearts will soften to just being happy for people to find true happiness, no matter the color of their skin.

I'm in an interracial marriage and I think it is fine. My husband is white and i'm black. A lot of my family disapproved me dating him and ther was some of my family who were fine with me dating him but did not want me to marry him. I think it just depends on how close minded someone is. It doesn't matter if the approve or not because Love doesn't discriminate.

I grew up in a home where it was not ok to even be friends with a person who was a different race. But I think that my dad is a a*s hole.Maybe that's why I don't talk to him anymore, anyway I have no problem with it. If my son married someone of a different race it would not bother me at all.If they are happy then I am happy. In a way I wish he would just to piss off my dad.

I like every race, just not everybody, my family would be accepting of any race, but not religion, they would disapprove of me dating anyone that is not Christian or Spiritual, but I have the final say so and they know that

i believe that if you're in love, go for it.my girlfriend is part black and my parents are totally against it.they have no problem with me being lesbian, but once they found out my girlfriend was a different race they flipped.my dad has said he will disown me if he finds out im still with her.whenever he sees a girl with a black guy he calls them white trash.he doesnt even know them.then if he sees a black guy in a good car, in a suit, he says "you know the govenment is paying for everything" i hate racist people.i find it stupid.its their life, let them live it how they want to.

no problems with interracial dating/marriage. My sister married someone who is Vietnamese and although my parents might be a little surprised if I brought someone home who was a different race, they wouldn't disapprove. LOVE HAS NO COLOR!!!!!

It might be hard on the racists in your family, but then stay away from them if they can't respect your love. Love is sometimes in short supply, so if you find an abundant source, hang on no matter what people say. We are all connected to each other.

I don't see any thing wrong with it one bit! My father told me when I was like 8 that if I ever married a black man he would kill me. I don't think he was kidding. Hes very racist. I'm not. I always grew up around it & did not want to be like that.
