Properly speaking, none of the above; but A is the closest to being correct. It would have been better to offer 'notochord' as an option.

D - chordate means 'has a spinal cord.' Duke's right - having a spinal cord doesn't necessarilly mean has spinal bones.

I would have to say A. I know B and C are wrong. If "neural groove" was on the list that would have been my choice.
