Most ants have eyes. Some do not. Army ant soldiers for example do not.

Well that depends on the type of ant.
Most ants do have eyes and do they use them? ; rarely
There are some other ants such as Driver ants they do not have eyes at all they communicate and act upon small vibrations. They are technically blind but they are able to see really well they take orders from pheremones from other ants . They are able to navigate the ground "sensing" everything around them.

When you really look at it most ants don't really need eyes because they are such an organized army that they have been classified as the most efficient predators
