At least that way we would get something out of it. What can we possibly gain now?

Despite all our best intentions, we cannot prevail in Iraq because we cannot gain the support and trust of the Iraqi people. When we went in to depose Saddam we were welcome, but now he is gone and it is time for us to leave as well.

We are now expecting our troops to fight an unconventional war with conventional weapons and strategies. As the descendants of the minutemen we should know better.

We removed a secular muslim government from power, and now a vaccuum exists. Until we get out of the way we cannot know if another secular government can survive the jihadists, and every day we delay makes it less likely.

Eventually even George III was able to see he could not win a foreign war against an insurgent army with enough popular support. How long before our own George figures it out?

I am not a sissy, and I am well in touch with my feelings already, thank you. All our stiffnecked pride will get us is more dead American men and women.

We got rid of Saddam. Enough is enough.

By "sissified", do you mean that he doesn't guzzle beer, fart and scratch his you-know-what?

Do you mean he actually has an education, is sensitive and caring, a loving husband, brother, son or boyfriend? Is that "sissified" to you?

Or do you mean a man who is courteous, dresses appropriately, works everyday and supports his children?

Or do you prefer the beer-gut mental midget who wears draggy *** pants and his baseball hat backwards.

Anyone with any brains knows that Iraq was a huge mistake and that it is WAY past time to leave there and bring our young soldiers home....

Of course, Bush is light in the brains department.

Do hawks only believe they are non-sissified if they support killing people?
Doesn't sound like it is us with the problem.

I suppose you're one of those "tough" guys who think we "won" in Vietnam, too.

One of these days, life is going to "sissify" your own big butt, and I hope you remember me telling you this when it happens.

Show us all where we are winning at all. Are you calling our soldiers sissified men now? But please do show us where we are winning and exactly what we are winning. I'll be waiting.

Wow - what a slam.

A little below the belt and slightly after the bell, but a good one none the less.
