what makes a man always feeling discontented?why we always have a never ending wish in life?

am just confused,because of discontentment,man became greedy for power/money and love which i think the causes of hatred/war and misunderstanding.why?where in fact,self interests never ADDS man's life?

well go visit a 3rd world country when u see how bad they have it then you will understand because that is the alternative we either drive and push for all we can or we live in the jungle fly infested drinking stagnant water and eating giant slugs
