the only way a phoenix can truely die is if every single human forgot of its existance. you just contributed to prolonging its life.

Of couse there is a way of killing a phoenix! as there are ways to kill every mythological creature.
All of us know that before a phoenix dies, it creates a shelter for it's body.
This nest is built with flammable objects, like wood. Then, when the time comes, the phoenix comes down to it's nest and then it dies. When this happen, the nest and the body of the phoenix began burning. After the fire is over, there are a lot of ashes, from which the new baby phoenix comes.
Long ago I read that to kill a phoenix, you must destroy it's nest before it comes down to burn. If the phoenix doesn't find it's nest, it will try to build a new one. If you keep destroying the new nests, the time of the phoenix will come and it will burn without the nest.
To regenerate, a phoenix needs a large amount of ash.
The ashes from the phoenix's body are not enough to regenerate itself.
If you see a phoenix in its last times, don't destroy it's nest!
They are good creatures, they won't hurt you...so please let the world see its beauty... xD

no they can't. They have healing powers in their tears. I guess if they die really suddenly like the earth blows up or something.
